Helpful Info for Harding Remote/Breakwater Learners
**Please note you can check in for attendance on I/C from 9:00 AM all the way until 11:59 PM- we are aware of Infinite Campus service being down and overloaded at various times of the day. Keep trying and if you still cannot check in, please call the Harding Attendance Line at 440-354-5400 ext 1397 to report that you are in attendance.
You must log into your Infinite Campus student portal everyday between 9 am and 11:58 pm every single day. From the menu (three horizontal lines) select TODAY, then scroll down and you will see Check in for attendance. Click this and you are checked in for the day. Your parent/guardian can also check you in from the parent portal. However once you OR your parent check in, the option will not be visible on either portal any longer. If you play sports/activities, you must check in by noon to be eligible for the day.
- If you do NOT check in you will automatically be marked absent unexcused for the day.
- If you are sick be sure to have a parent/guardian call the attendance line at 440-354-5400 ext 1397 to report your absence, so it can be excused.
- We are required to follow HB410-so if you are not checking in you will become Truant and an attendance meeting will be called and charges may be filed at juvenile court.
- Please check in! If you need help or cannot find it on the student portal, please call the Harding Office at 440-354-5400 ext 301
- If you cannot remember your Infinite Campus user/password please call the office.
Meal Pick-Up for Remote Learners
The Nutrition Department will be providing meals, by reservation only, for remote learners in the district. Meal pick-up will be on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Harding Jr/Sr High. Students will receive breakfast and lunch meals for the following week’s school days. They will not receive meals for non-school days or holidays. Parents must fill out the remote learners' meal pick up form located on the website by Friday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. to receive meals for the following week. Parents will need to list their students and their grade. Per USDA guidelines, Harding students will be eating breakfast and lunch at no cost beginning Tuesday. Virtual learners that pick meals up at Harding will also be at no cost (regardless of the building they attend).
All Teachers are available to assist Remote Learners M-F 2:15 to 3:05 by appointment. Simply email your teacher/s to make an appointment, specify whether you would like to meet remotely via zoom or google meets or if you would like to make an in person appointment. Please note Masks are required to be worn for the entire in person meeting at Harding. Staff email addresses can be found HERE
