#12 COVID-19 Extended school closure until May 1, 2020 and Technology Assistance

March 31, 2020

Good afternoon Skippers,

I hope everyone is staying well. Thank you to everyone who works in the healthcare field as well as first responders, grocery stores, gas stations, food service and I could continue with many more. Please know that you are appreciated.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced that the state ordered school closure will extend to at least Friday, May 1, 2020.  We have been preparing for this extended closure and will continue to send updates to students and families throughout this time.

I realize that many of you are putting in a full-time job outside of the home while simultaneously helping us educate your kid(s).  I am confident that we will all do the best we can to make the most of this situation. Today I am asking you to give us your feedback and let us know what has been the most difficult so we can try to make it better.   Kindly complete the online survey by clicking this LINK.

Technology

Our Technology Department is here to support you during the COVID-19 shutdown. It is our sincere hope that you will find some helpful technology resources, please visit our FHEVS website here.  Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate to a help section or click the magnifying glass to search. Also, we will be holding in-person technology office hours at the following location and time.  Please bring in any non-working Chromebook and we will assist with the repair.  You will not need to leave your vehicle. Someone from our tech department will meet you at your car and take the device and return it once the repair is completed.
