Chester Rojeck
Chet Rojeck graduated from Ohio University in 1951 and then began his 30-year teaching and coaching career at Shore Jr. High School followed by ten years at Fairport Harbor. During his time at Fairport, he coached football and re-established the track program. His teams won three state championships in two years, winning two in track and one in football during the 1964-65 seasons. He was honored as Fairport's "Man of the Year" by the Lions Club and "Ohio Coach of the Year" by the United Press International. The Skippers won numerous league titles during his time. After leaving Fairport, he continued teaching and coaching at Orange and Euclid until 1979. After retirement, he invented the Pull-Up Trainer, a fitness device used throughout the world.
