The Fairport Harbor Exempted Village Board of Education values its engagement with the community and believes that providing an opportunity for public comment during Regular Board Meetings supports that engagement and provides transparency. Though proving an opportunity for public comment is not a requirement, we would like to continue this practice even while meeting virtually. In the spirit of maintaining this opportunity for our public to participate in these virtual school board meetings, interested persons may submit written public comments via this electronic form. The Board will collect the public participation information up to one hour before the Regular Meetings for inclusion in the meeting.

We realize that many of our students rely on breakfast and lunch that they receive each day at school. We have updated our nutrition plan for the remainder of the mandatory school closure that ensures that students who need these meals will be able to get them.
We are following guidance from the health department to limit exposure and maintain social distancing. Staff will pass out meals at the Harding Jr/High School, Vine Street entrance near the Fairport Library. A Riverside/Fairport staff member will come to your car to get your student's names and then bring the meals to you. Students do not need to be present, and we would prefer only one person per family to come to pick the meals up. The meal pick-up plan is to protect both staff and families.
The school district will provide meal pick-ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the duration of the state-mandated school closure.
Important: Children from birth to age 18 may receive meals offered regardless of enrollment. Please do not exit your car; a staff member will come to your vehicle to pass out the meals. Thank you!

Good morning Skippers,
First and foremost, thank you for your patience during this ever-changing time. Governor Mike DeWine announced that the state ordered school closure will extend through the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic school year. Staff will continue to plan and prepare the grade level online distance learning curriculum for students. We will continue to send updates to students and families throughout this time via Infinite Campus Messenger and our website, www.fhevs.org.
Please notify your building administrator if your child tells you they are unable to access the online learning opportunities. Our teachers and technology department will work with you to make sure your child has the access they need. We will make all attempts to answer your questions and offer assistance to the best of our ability.
