Dismissal Changes 1/29/26 from Principal Elmore

We appreciate your patience as we implement our updated dismissal procedures. Recent
developments and considerations have required us to make necessary adjustments to our
current process. While maintaining consistency for our students remains a priority, these
changes are essential to ensuring the safety of both our staff and students.
Effective today, the following changes will be implemented during dismissal.

● All preschool through grade 5 car riders will begin dismissal at 2:40. Preschool students
and their siblings will no longer be dismissed at 2:25.
● All preschool-grade 5 cars will form one line on Vine Street and will be directed to turn
right on New Fourth. Please do not pull in the parking lot to pick up your child.
● Walkers will now be dismissed from the main entrance doors on Vine Street. If you are
picking up your walker students, please wait outside the main atrium doors that face
Vine Street. Kindergarten and preschool walkers will be dismissed from these doors at
2:50. Grade 1-5 walkers will be dismissed from these doors at 3:00.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to maintain effective dismissal
procedures. Please remember that our staff is working diligently to ensure all students are
dismissed safely and efficiently. We kindly ask that everyone picking up a student treat staff
members with respect, keeping in mind that we are all setting an example for our students.
