Fairport Harbor Families, 

We wanted to share some important information regarding the 2026-2027 school year.

Administration Update:

OHSAA Parent Sports Meeting will be held in the cafeteria from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2026, followed by Meet the Skippers in the gym at 7:00 pm 

District-wide Open House K-12 will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026

Bell Schedules and First Day Information:

  • The first day of school for all students in grades 1-12 is August 20th.
  • Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A-L will report to school on August 25th.
  • Kindergarten students with last names beginning with M-Z will report to school on August 26th.
  • The first day for all kindergarten students is August 27th.

  • The bell schedule will be as follows:

    • Preschool-Grade 6: 

      • Doors open at 8:00

      • 8:00 - 8:17- Breakfast

      • 8:20 - Tardy Bell

      • 2:40 - 3:05-Car Rider Dismissal

      • 3:00 - Grades 1-6 Walker Dismissal

      • PreK and K Walkers - Dismissed to parent or guardian at 2:50

    • Grades 7-12:

      • Doors open at 8:00

      • 8:00 - 8:17 - Breakfast

      • 8:20 - Tardy Bell

      • 3:01 - Dismissal

Other Important Information:

  • The Fairport Harbor School District does not provide busing/transportation
    • Transportation to and from the Auburn Career Center is provided 
  • Students entering kindergarten must turn 5 by August 20th.

  • Free Breakfast and Free Lunch for all students in the 26/27 school year
  • You will receive an Infinite Campus Messenger when schedules (K-12) are completed 
  • Playground and Upper parking lot are scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2026
  • More information will be forthcoming regarding Arrival and Dismissal logistics  

Annual Update/Online Registration in Infinite Campus begins August 1, 2026
