Hispanic Heritage Month
On Tuesday, October 1st, Ms. Collins took some of her students to Lakeland Community College to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a bilingual poetry event. Two poets gave readings of their poems, in Spanish and English, and the event was followed by a reception complete with Mexican pastries and horchata!
