A special thanks to those who traveled from near and far to be a part of this special gathering. We are truly grateful for your presence.
Once a Skipper, Always a Skipper
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the numerous Fairport Alumni who joined us on September 6, 2024, for the memorable Soggy Friday Night Lights Game. This event was a celebration of all alumni, particularly those from the classes of 1974 and 1975, who walked the field. A special thanks to those who traveled from near and far to be a part of this special gathering. We are truly grateful for your presence.
It was a pleasure to walk down memory lane with you during the final tours of McKinley and Harding on September 7, 2024. Listening to your stories—from almost being expelled by Mr. Branthoover to the joys of playing basketball in the third-floor gym, participating in band and cheer, enjoying lunch at home, gracing the stage as actors and reminiscing about the friends made along the way—was a delight. Your willingness to share your experiences, shed happy tears, and bring your memories to life was deeply appreciated. We are profoundly moved and touched by the overwhelming support, encouragement, and appreciation you have shown for the solid education you received at Fairport Harbor Schools. Fairport Harbor Schools is committed to being anchored in the community and inspiring excellence for generations to come.
We warmly welcome Andrea Bender Musial '03, Eva Bonczek Friend '00, and Lee Silvi '71 to the Hall of Fame. Thank you for your contributions to the Fairport Harbor community, and for speaking to high school students on Friday and attending the game that night. We hope you enjoy the induction ceremony hosted by the Hall of Fame Committee on September 7, 2024.
We eagerly anticipate the completion of the construction on the new campus and the subsequent ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Fall of 2025. Past graduates were invited to participate in this momentous occasion by signing a beam that will be used in the construction of the new building. This week, current students will also be invited to sign the beam.
Thank you to the Fairport Community for the steadfast support shown to Fairport Harbor Schools. We are truly blessed to have such a strong school community.
