Power Outage Update 9/25/24
September 25, 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This morning, our school district experienced a power outage that began at approximately 9:30 a.m. and lasted until 10:38 a.m. We wanted to take a moment to inform you about the situation and share how our school responded to ensure the safety and well-being of all students during this time.
Our staff immediately implemented the school's safety plan, keeping students secure in their classrooms while continuing to maintain a calm and organized environment. Despite the disruption, we were able to deliver lunches to the classrooms, and students were provided with guided restroom breaks as needed.
We are proud of how smoothly the situation was handled and the cooperation we received from both staff and students. Their patience and flexibility were truly commendable, and we appreciate the understanding and support from all of you, our parents, as well.
We thank everyone-students, staff, and parents alike-for your patience and cooperation during this brief disruption. Your support helps us continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our students, no matter the challenges that arise.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Sincerely,
William Billington
Superintendent
