Congrats to Fairport Sophomore Marissa Malone placing 3rd place overall on Saturday, 12-14 at Laurel for the Just Write Ohio Tournament! We have some great news - Marissa has qualified for the state tournament and received a 3rd place medal today! Excellent writing Marissa! This is a true sign of superior writing - there were approximately 100 writers in attendance today.
The overall tournament results will be sent in two weeks, and we will know if anyone else has qualified for the state competition. Congrats to all on competing today. We are proud of each one of you!
