9th graders had a walking trip!
Finnish Museum
9th graders had a walking trip to the Finnish Heritage Museum to learn more about the background of the Finnish history in Fairport Harbor. Students learned from the museum volunteers about various people, articles and artifacts from Fairport Harbor and also from Finland. 9th grade students helped to beautify the outdoor grounds at the museum by pulling some weeds and spreading mulch. They also went to the Finnish Memorial in Veterans Park to help with that area as well.
