Cross Country Regionals from Coach Greg Knight

All the photos are in, and Isaac and Nathan had great races for the Fairport Skippers Cross Country team.

The Boardman course goes by the name the Spartan race during the regular season because the course is incredibly challenging and runs a little long. If your time is even close to your district time you ran incredibly fast. Both Isaac and Nathan almost beat their district times and looked exhausted crossing the line. Both fought off competitors at the finish to improve the end of their seasons by an additional spot. Isaac had a solid senior season and I wish he'd run with us all throughout high school. Nathan just finished his freshman year and has a very bright future ahead of him. Both were strong inspirations for the rest of the team which fills me with hope for next year.
