2022-2023 CCP Information Posted 2/22/22
Dear Parent or Guardian,
Each year Fairport Harding High School hosts an informational meeting about the College Credit Plus program. This meeting is strongly recommended for students who intend to participate in CCP during the 2022-23 academic year.
The CCP program allows eligible students in grades 7-12 to enroll in a state-assisted college, university, or any non-profit institution for the purpose of enhancing students' career readiness and postsecondary success. This year we have pre-recorded our presentations and you may view this presentation on the Fairport Harbor Exempted Village Schools website at this LINK
Also included in this message is the mandatory paperwork for participation in the CCP program: CCP Intent to Participate Form & Information Certification. All CCP students, both new and returning, must submit the CCP Letter of Intent to Participate form by April 1, 2022. This is the final binding date set by the State of Ohio, by which all eligibility criteria must be completed. Please complete and return this form to Mrs. Jurick prior to April 1, 2022.
After viewing the videos, please contact Mrs.Jurick with any questions you may have regarding the College Credit Plus program.

FHS Pathways Early College and College Credit Plus
PREPARE FOR YOUR FUTURE!
The Fairport Harbor Schools is working to provide a world-class education for it's
students. We understand that providing personalized options for our students will allow
them to be challenged, interested and engaged. Making the decision to select a higher
education pathway can be exciting and nerve-wracking for both parents and students. We
hope that this guide will help you to better understand the variety of choices that you have
within the College Credit Plus (CCP) and Early College options! These programs allow
students to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses
from Ohio colleges and/or universities at little or no cost to families. These programs
promote rigorous academic pursuits and provide a wide variety of options to college-ready
students in grades 7-12, including students who may have an interest in pursuing a particular
career pathway. Students may attend part-time or full time and take courses on campus or
online.
Public School students who are interested in taking advantage of these programs must
complete a Letter of Intent to Participate and Submit it by April 1, Mrs. Jurick, at Fairport
Harding High School (mjurick@fhevs.org) Students must also sign up to take the acuplacer
assessment at their school of choice, as well as, apply and be admitted to the college or
university. Registration of courses will then be completed.
We hope that you find this handbook helpful. As always, please contact us with any
questions you may have. We look forward to assisting you on this exciting journey!
