I teach eighth-grade social studies in Navigators Personalized Learning and Geography. In the past, I have taught high school American History, Government, Economics, the Civil War, 20th Century American History, Psychology, Sociology, and the 1960s.
This is my ninth year in education and my third year at Fairport Harding. I taught for two years in Athens County and four years in Carroll County before moving back to Lake County.
I graduated from Riverside in 2007. I studied North American History at Ohio University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2011. I earned my Masters of Education after studying Adolescent to Young Adult Social Studies in 2013.
I have also served as the Head Football Coach for the Skippers since 2017. Before that, I was an assistant coach at Riverside and the defensive coordinator for nine years at Federal Hocking and Malvern, where I also served as the Head Wrestling and Head Track & Field Coach.
My wife, Brenna, teaches at McKinley Elementary and we have a son named Nolan.
