  • Issue 3

    Issue 3

    WHY ISSUE 3?
Issue 3 is a substitute levy, this allows school districts to combine multiple emergency levies. More importantly, combining these two levies will allow us to
LOWER the tax rate to property owners by 1.5 mills annually. This tax relief will start immediately in the next tax cycle after passage.

    2022-2023 School Lunch Info

*Updated 6/24/22 to add link for paper 22/23 free and reduced lunch application* Click to read more.

    May 23, 2022
    Dear Fairport Parents & Guardians,
Effective June 2, 2022 (the last day of school), federal meal waivers from the USDA for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs that have been in place during the COVID-19 pandemic will expire.
What does this mean for you?
    1. Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year, students will no longer receive breakfast and lunch at no cost unless they qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
    2. Your student must be eligible for free or reduced-price meals, either through direct certification or a completed free or reduced-price meal application. The application will be available to fill out after July 1, 2022. The electronic version, which is the most efficient way to apply, can be found in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need a paper copy you will need to contact our office at the number above.
    3. If your student previously was eligible, either by direct certification or an application, that status carries over for the first 30 days of the new school year. If you have questions or would like to know your student’s status please contact our department.
    4. Please work with your younger student on their PIN (Student ID Number) and remind them that they will need to enter it into the pin pad at lunchtime.
