The Christ Child Society of the Western Reserve is offering the $1000.00 Mary Virginia Merrick Scholarship to one graduating Senior from each of the following qualifying high schools listed below.

The Northeast Ohio Chapter of the American Public Works Association
(APWA) is offering ten $1,000
scholarships to students residing in the Northeast Ohio area enrolled in
a Public Works field of study
including Engineering, Administrative, Vocational/Trade, and
Environmental Impact/Water Quality
disciplines.  We are encouraging qualified applicants from your school
district/educational institution
to apply by the February 27, 2026 deadline.  In administration of the
foregoing, we ask that you please
assist our efforts by posting the attached scholarship information and
application in strategic locations
that will generate optimal exposure to your student population. Your
assistance in this important
endeavor is greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions or would

Submission Directions

Save all items from the Checklist as a PDF. 

Combine the separate PDFs from the Checklist into a single PDF using the following website https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/merge-pdf.html. There are directions for how to merge the PDFs on the website. Please merge them in the same order as they are listed on the Checklist.

Send an email to theroddickfund@gmail.com with each item from the application checklist saved as a single PDF. You should only have one PDF attachment with all of your application materials. Enter you application file name in the subject line as “HighSchool_LastName_FirstName”. 

The email with all completed application materials must be received by the Roddick Fund by Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST.

Laca Scholarship

The JFSA (Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland) offers scholarships and grants to Cleveland area students who are degree-seeking and attending four-year accredited college programs in the classroom.

Applications are now open and close on April 1^st. Please have your students visit our website to see if they qualify and to learn how they can apply:

The majority of our opportunities are for students who identify as Jewish. However, we do have two scholarships that include students of all faiths (non-Jewish students can reach out to me via email to see if they qualify). Please share our program information with your students, where other scholarship opportunities are listed for high school seniors. Please also share this information where parents would be able to see it.

I've attached information about our program as well as a flyer for the Ruth Weltmann Begun Memorial STEM Scholarship. This scholarship is for academically superior Jewish female students pursuing a degree in STEM, and the generous awards are $12,500 per year.

Please note that we offer scholarships for middle-income households too (family income maximum approximately $225,000, with awards up to $5,000). Applications for this scholarship are processed on a competitive first-come, first-served basis for students with a 3.0 GPA and higher.
