  • Cognitive       

    These competencies cover the cognitive domain which includes thinking, reasoning, and related skills.

     

    Content Mastery: Students Develop and draw from a baseline understanding of knowledge in an academic discipline. Transfer knowledge to other situations.

     

    Critical Thinking and Problem Solving

    • Students
      • Collect, assess and analyze relevant information.
      • Reason effectively.
      • Use systems thinking.
      • Make sound judgments and decisions.
      • Identify, define and solve authentic problems and essential questions.
      • Reflect critically on learning experiences, processes, and solutions.

    Creativity and Innovation

    • Students

    Environmental Literacy

    These competencies cover the intrapersonal domain, which involves self-management, including the ability to regulate one’s behavior and emotions to reach goals.
