Research Methods - Come learn how science happens, and be a part of science happening. The course covers methods scientists use to learn about the world and the world around them. This counts as an elective course. Classes will meet Monday through Friday, 1 pm to 5 pm, June 6 – July 1.

Honors Biology – Learn the nitty-gritty details of how life works. This class gets deeper into the basics of biology, including the working cells, DNA, genetics, and evolution. • McKinley students along with our Newbury friends enjoyed a fun filled day on May 18th with Field Day at Harding High Football Field. Thank you to all of the volunteers who have helped, we couldn’t do this without you! Our day consisted of designed games, centered around the books of our Author Study on Amy Krause Rosenthal.

  • Rocket Launch

Thanks to grant funding from the Jennings Foundation, our high school students were able to learn and apply skills in a fashion that makes learning deeper and more meaningful.

    up up away

Today was the first day of rocket launching for Mrs. Tenon's freshman English  and Mr. Messer's physics students.

This project embodies many of the things that we are striving to work towards as a district and it is a lot of fun too.

The transdisciplinary approach to education that is endemic to International Baccalaureate is not only successful in our elementary. As ESSA replaces NCLB, education in Ohio is going to change dramatically over the next decade.

    Take Cover

As teachers become increasingly collaborative and lessons become more project and inquiry based, our students will find their learning to become more personalized and they will be the ones being launched into a bright future.
